Stuck on the side of the Mass Pike...

I'm not kidding! My sister, mother, Noah, Luca, Harper and I attempted a journey to Boston to visit my grandmother during our recent trip to Connecticut. However, we didn't make it. We got a flat tire shortly after getting onto the Massachusetts Turnpike and my sister didn't have a spare tire in her car. Since getting a tow was not an option with 3 children in carseats, we had to stay in the car on the side of the Mass Pike for 3 HOURS while we waited for my brother-in-law to leave work, get the spare, drive up to us and put it on. As a result of Murphy's Law, the day this happened also happened to be the nicest, sunniest day of our visit and one of two when it didn't rain. But we survived! Quality, family time. : )
