Having fun with her buddy Miles!

Notice Miles' new haircut?  Well, Harper will be joining the haircut club tomorrow!  I will probably have a chance on Friday to upload some photos from San Diego.

Time for a haircut, don't you think?

She is going to get one, very soon I hope.  I am trying to make time for an appointment before we leave for San Diego on Thursday, but if it doesn't happen I'm sure that her hippie/beach bum baby hair will blend right in.

The bathtub

is one of Harper's favorite places to play, with or without clothing.  On this particular day- when Gramma and Papa were here- we were looking for Harper, who had been out of our sight for all of 30 seconds and we found her in the bathtub building a "tower".  How she got in without falling remains a mystery but she did seem to inherit Andy's hand-eye coordination....

Slowly but surely....

Our house is becoming more of a "home".  There are still no pictures on the walls- except in Harper's room- but we finally have blinds and our guest room has a mattress (a real mattress, not one that is filled with air or a futon- a bit of information that should be appreciated by our future guests!), our bedroom has assembled furniture- (why oh why did we decide to go with the 'unassembled' furniture option, funny we just ended up paying a friend to put it together because Andy had no time for that project and we won't discuss my daily to-do list but I can assure you that it has no room for assembling furniture) and at least one bathroom offers a place to hang a towel.  Since Mom and Dad Pillari are coming in for a visit this week- which we are so looking forward to, especially Harper, who carries around a Pillari family photo from Tony's ordination chanting, "Papa, Papa"- we are hoping that the guest room can come into working order.

More pictures of the house coming, eventually....

By the way, Oscar didn't shrink and grow a fluffy white coat, that is our friend's dog, Rigby, who was staying with us for the weekend.

Another sunny + 50 Denver "winter" day

The park across the street from our house has 3 slides. She likes going down the slide but is not happy that mommy or daddy insist on going with her- seriously, she's 15 months old, can I really let her go down by herself? No.  That is a battle I am winning for awhile.  She called this particular slide a "tunnel" and then wanted to climb back up it.  I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get out of the tunnel slide, I don't think it was intended for anyone taller than 4 feet or weighing more than 80 pounds.
