Someone liked chocolate chip pancakes

Harper and baby Leo

She adored him!  Andy and I were so happy, since when she first met Leo in December, she screamed anytime we were near him.

Hiking with Daddy in Texas

Curls and more curls!

It was rather humid one of the days that we were in Texas and we got to see what Harper's hair would look like if we lived somewhere that wasn't as dry as Colorado.  Reason to move?  I think so.

Cousins

Not the world's best picture, but what can you expect when the subjects are a 4 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old?

Harper and Tula at the Zoo

Harper and I met up with our friends Melissa and Tula at the zoo today.  Melissa and I went to acupuncture school together and both gave birth to girls, four weeks apart, at the same hospital!  The girls were SO sweet together, they enjoyed the animals but had an even better time holding hands, walking around, playing on the ground, riding the carousel, hugging and kissing!  People were stopping us to tell us how cute they were...

Amy & Nick's new house

Uncle Nick, Aunt Amy, Noah and Luca recently moved into their new house in Connecticut so I wanted to share a picture.  The house is not quite finished but things were complete enough for them to move in. It is right next door to my parents house and I admit to being very jealous of many of the amenities, such as the enormous, beautiful kitchen and the solar panels- not to mention the 5 acre plot of land it sits on.  The solar panels in the picture are for making hot water, they made all of their hot water during the beautiful weather we had while we were visiting. They are getting several more for making electricity soon.

H. Harper.

Every parent thinks their child is a genius and I am no different. : )  Harper is very verbal, she is basically speaking in sentences and constantly surprises me with the things she says and does.  But yesterday she surprised me even more than usual.  While we were outside, enjoying the nice weather and playing with the sidewalk chalk, she drew this picture and told me, "H.  Harper. "  I was very impressed with how much like an H her picture looked!

love this picture....

While we were in Connecticut visiting family last week, Harper got to spend lots of quality time with her cousins, Noah and Luca.  Noah and Harper have a particularly special bond and I think this picture captures it completely.  Noah absolutely adores his baby cousin and was so sweet with her, she would be running around doing her toddler thing and he would be watching over her every move with love.  It was very sad to leave and separate the two of them.

Back in Colorado, Harper and Miles enjoy looking at the ducks.
