My sous chef

Harper's making her current favorite meal: chocolate chip pancakes.  Made with garbanzo bean and millet flours; ground almonds, walnuts, cashews and flax seed and vegan chocolate chips!

Almost asleep

Another day, another massage.

I am so grateful that I was able to take an infant massage course, it has been so valuable to my relationship with Reid.  Every night, no matter what, we carve out about 15 minutes to spend just looking at each other while I massage her.  Reid's mood is always lifted during her massage and after it's done she is ready to settle down for the night.

Sesame Street Live

We had a wonderful Saturday morning, breakfast at one of our favorite spots and then Sesame Street Live with the girls and our friends Lisa, Chris, Marshall and Maggie.  Harper loved it of course but I think Reid had almost as good of a time, she was completely fascinated by the lights and music.
Andy and I decided "no souvenirs" (just because we have enough toys!) before the show but somehow Andy was talked into getting Harper an Elmo balloon.  Daddy just can't resist his little girl's requests.

Reid & Elias

It is such a blessing that Reid has a cousin 6 weeks older than her (and another cousin 16 weeks younger than her!).  They may be close in age but they are not close in size! Eli has 7 pounds on Reid and completely dwarfed her! In my opinion, it's 4 pounds of chub, 2 pounds of cheeks and a pound of hair.  They were so adorable together.

Flying a kite!

During our visit to Connecticut, Harper got to do something she has been talking about for months: fly a kite.  I have never seen such a look of joy and accomplishment on her face. She insisted doing it herself of course, as soon someone was able to get it in the air for her.  She is the short one in the pictures and the others are her cousin Noah and cousin Tianna.
