100% girl

At our 20 week ultrasound on June 2, the ultrasound technician told us that we were having a "70%" girl. Andy was convinced, as he had been from the day we found out we were expecting, that it was a 100% girl. Despite my acupuncturist's conviction that it was a girl and the fact that all of the old wives tales were pointing to girl, I was a little less certain and really thought we were having a boy! Our little one was fairly uncooperative at this ultrasound and the tech was unable to get a good picture of her heart so we were scheduled for a repeat ultrasound 3 1/2 weeks later. Luckily, she was moving all over the place and the tech got a good view of everything, including confirmation that she is indeed, a she. Grandma Messier is certainly thrilled, as this will be her first granddaughter after having her two beloved grandsons, Noah and Luca, from my sister.
