Private concert
A friend of mine from high school is the saxophone player in the band Slightly Stoopid. He was in town for some concerts and came over to visit and put on a little show for them.
Sleepover with Evan!
Our friends Evan and Cary stayed over so that Cary could run with Andy in the morning while I watched the kids. Cary's wife and other son, Noah, were in Texas visiting a new baby cousin! It is so fun to have some little boy energy in the house!

Bad blogger...
Sorry I've been such a bad blogger lately. No time!! Always the problem, with everything. And given that there's Facebook & Instagram, I feel like I'm sharing at least some stuff about the kids with friends!
We are settling back into our life here in Colorado. Our neighborhood is incredible- picture-perfect and an ideal place for the girls to grow up. We are meeting our neighbors and making friends while reconnecting with old friends we knew when we lived here before. Since the kids will be growing up without a significant family presence in their lives in terms of grandparents or cousins (the exact opposite of my childhood, which kills me because I know how incredible that was…), we are creating a family made up of the people around us.
We are going through the challenge of figuring out school for Harper for next year. There are a lot of great options- too many options, really, it complicates things- in Boulder County. We want her to go to a school that will nurture her creativity and love of the arts & the outdoors. But also focus on academics. :) We will have that decision made within the next week or so.
