Making play-dough
I usually make it, then give it to them, but I allowed them to have the full sensory experience today. My kitchen certainly suffered!

Harper drinking her herbs
We are making it through another cold season with the help of our favorite formula. And knock on wood, our streak continues: neither girl has ever had an ear infection or a dose of antibiotics and we have still only been to the doctor for a sick visit once! Having strong, healthy girls is such a blessing.

The girls zoning out to a movie
We had a late afternoon/dinner/play date with the lovely ladies down the street, Cora and Hazel. They took a brief break from playing and sat quietly on the couch watching "The Gruffalo" for about 5 minutes while we were figuring out dinner. Our blond-haired, blue-eyed foursome could all be sisters.
Playing in the snow!
It is very strange that our girls have lived in Colorado and Chicago and snow is still kind of a novelty for them! Colorado was drought-stricken for many of our years there and the Chicago area is in the same pattern! So we made do with the couple of inches in our yard and went at it.

Harper's New Year's resolution. Who knew?
I love that her best friend, Hayden, who is the tiniest one in Harper's class and not much bigger than Reid, wants to learn the cello! Kids are hysterical.
