Baby Joseph has arrived!

Harper's FIFTH boy cousin arrived today. Joseph Dominic Pillari was born to Quinn & TJ (Andy's brother). He is their third child, joining Lucy, 4 and Leo, 18 months.  We can't wait to meet him next month in Ohio!

Trip to the Urban Farm

We took a trip to the urban farm- as the name implies, a farm located in Denver. Harper had a blast! Her friend Noah did too, they especially enjoyed the horse swings after the tour was over.

Trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park

We took a road trip down to Great Sand Dunes National Park, which is in south-central Colorado, getting close to the border with New Mexico, about 4 hours from Denver.  We planned the trip months ago when there was no way we could have predicted the weather and it turned out to be a "red-flag" high wind warning day for two of the three days we were down there and the other day was extremely windy too! Did the wind ruin our trip? Well, no.  But we could have spent a lot more time outside if the weather had been different.  Ah, Colorado, where absolutely gorgeous days are sometimes wrecked by 50 mph winds.  Although Andy and I were talking about it, when you plan to visit a natural wonder that was formed by wind, you should probably assume it will be a pretty windy place.  Glad we got to see it anyway!
